Ross Eiler Memorial Scholarship Program

| This scholarship was started in memory of Ross Eiler, who
was killed in an auto accident in April of 2001. Ross graduated
from Lawrenceburg High School in 2000. While in school, he
excelled in academics, sports, leadership and service. Ross’
family wishes to recognize the values that Ross exemplified
through the establishment of this fund. |

Eligibility Criteria:
|
- Must be a graduating senior attending Lawrenceburg High
School;
- Must be planning to attend college in the fall of 2008
as a full-time student pursuing a 4-year degree at an
accredited institution;
- Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and be
in the top 10% of his/her graduating class;
- Applicants must demonstrate athletic ability and have
been a participant on at least two school sponsored athletic
teams during his/her four years of high school, with
preference given to the sports in which Ross participated
(soccer, swimming, and track);
- Applicants must demonstrate leadership and a commitment
to service by active participation in volunteer activities
such as Key Club, church, or community-sponsored service
activities; and
- The scholarship will be awarded to the most deserving
candidate regardless of his/her financial need.

Evaluation Process:
|
- Submit your completed
application to the Dearborn Community Foundation, Inc.
office no later than 4:00 pm on
Monday, January 14, 2008;
- Application must include a copy of your high school
transcript to date, including attendance records, to be
provided by the Guidance Department;
- Application will be reviewed for eligibility,
completeness, and professionalism; and
- Applications will be evaluated by a scholarship
committee for scoring and selection recommendations.
