$1,000 DCF GRANT HELPS LAWRENCEBURG MAIN STREET WITH MUSIC ON THE RIVER

LAWRENCEBURG, Ind., DECEMBER 29, 2025 – A $1,000 grant from Dearborn Community Foundation will help Lawrenceburg Main Street keep the groove with its always popular free Music on the River series.

DCF Board member Larry Campbell presents a $1,000 grant to Rebecca Lovern, Executive Director of Lawrenceburg Main Street.

Foundation Board member Larry Campbell recommended the grant to Main Street as a part of DCF’s annual program, through which each of the organization’s 15 volunteer board members recommends a $1,000 grant. The grants to charitable organizations that serve Dearborn County residents are funded through unrestricted endowment funds, established by donors to provide flexibility to address changing needs in the community over the years.

“Music on the River provides great music and entertainment for people across Dearborn County,” said Campbell. “Main Street does a great job with this popular event, and I thought it would be a great grant to recommend.”

Admission is free and parking is conveniently located in an adjacent garage. Music on the River includes local and national bands typically ranging from Motown to Classic Rock. The popular music series annually brings thousands and thousands of folks to Downtown Lawrenceburg.
