E. Alan Newhouse chose to establish a scholarship endowment in memory of his brother R. Daniel Newhouse and to provide financial help for graduates of Dearborn County high schools who are seeking a career via a vocational certification and/or a two-year associates degree at an accredited institution of higher education. Daniel Newhouse was very interested in industrial arts courses as a student at Lawrenceburg High School and Alan Newhouse wanted to help students who have similar interests as his brother.
Amount of Scholarship: one scholarship up to $500
