The purpose of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship (LECS) is to help raise the level of educational attainment in Indiana and to leverage further the ability of Indiana’s community foundations to enhance the quality of life of the state’s residents.

Dearborn Community Foundation is eligible to nominate one recipient and alternates for one full tuition scholarship. The Endowment hopes that this program will encourage many of Indiana’s most talented students to attend one of Indiana’s fine higher education institutions and after graduation consider pursuing occupations in Indiana.

Amount of Scholarship:
Four-years, full-tuition plus required fees and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
